Must Listen Too
I have taken so much from this book as at the moment I am going through storms and feeling confused and weak so this has been a great source of encouragement to keep going that even though its bad right now, it won't be like that forever but will be used for god's plan I just need to keep giving it to him
- Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely
- By: Lysa TerKeurst
- Narrated by: Ginny Welsh
- Length: 5 hrs and 27 mins
The enemy wants us to feel rejected, left out, lonely, and less than. When we allow him to speak lies through our rejection, he pickpockets our purpose. Cripples our courage. Dismantles our dreams. And blinds us to the beauty of Christ's powerful love. In Uninvited, Lysa shares her own deeply personal experiences with rejection - from the incredibly painful childhood abandonment by her father to the perceived judgment of the perfectly toned woman one elliptical over.
Great message but speaker is waaay too fast

Much needed and helpful....
What did you like most about Uninvited?
The breakdown of information and the examples are really relatable. and you could definitely see how they would happen and then how the subject of each chapter relates to it and what you need to do for yourself.
What did you like best about this story?
The examples and then what we can do to make us focus on what we need to - God rather and ourselves - and the fact that the fact that is always a work in progress
Did Ginny Welsh do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?
Yes good definition in different voices and tones when needed, I just think that the recording of the reading has been turned up - I needed to balance it at about 0.85 in speed to get everything
Any additional comments?
The speed will need to be reduced from 1 to 0.85 so it will be longer than 5 and Half hours.
