The Space Barons is the story of a group of billionaire entrepreneurs who are pouring their fortunes into the epic resurrection of the American space program. Nearly a half century after Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, these Space Barons - most notably Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, along with Richard Branson and Paul Allen - are using Silicon Valley-style innovation to dramatically lower the cost of space travel and send humans even further than NASA has gone.

Lots of detailed content that many don't have access to. The whole tone of the book greatly captures the exciting space race of the modern times. The book itself skillfully jumps between the few space barons in their initial years and converge into one single narrative. Absolute gem!

The Annapurna Circuit in Nepal is the most popular footpath in Asia. Its genius lies in its design. Trekkers wind their way around and along some of the world's greatest peaks, ultimately getting near 18,000 feet, without ever having to do any 'technical climbing'.

As an aspiring Annapurna trekker, Bill's insight proved to be a good first hand account on both the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp. Great listen and informative.

On a more detailed note, I think that Bill could handle the situation with his Porter better than letting himself to get ripped off like that.

You'll get a step-by-step formula: open this account, then do this; call this person, and say this; invest money here and not there. All with a glass of wine in your hand.

As someone who really interested in managing personal finance, but didnt really have an idea on where to start, this book is priceless. Simple, yet very executable. Although Im not living in Australia and the examples cannot really be applied to me, but the general idea can be adapted anywhere. Dont be lured by the title, its not delve that much into investing but more on financial management, which are great!
