Total rubbish. A guy posts a comment on an online forum then writes a book about it. Frequently quotes the bible. What kind of self respecting psychologist actually argues in favour of people having an imaginary friend that will torture you for eternity for being bad? Could not take this hack seriously when spewing such religious nonsense.

Lewis Howes grew up as an athlete. He was a two-sport All-American and went on to play football professionally. Howes then transferred his competitive nature from sports to business, building his podcast, The School of Greatness, into a global phenomenon. But his whole identity was built on misguided beliefs about what "masculinity" was: dangerous, false ideas learned from teammates and coaches in locker rooms and stereotypes in the media. Like so many men, Howes grew up to be angry, frustrated, and always chasing something that was never enough.

There are some great points made in this book and it may appeal to many men however the author frequently trying to be PC often detracts from the books message and seems to push negative male stereotypes voiced by feminists to dis-empower men.

Everyone knows confidence when they see it; but seemingly no one can actually describe what goes into it or how to get it. The Nerd's Guide to Being Confident is an unconventional way of looking at one of the most basic and obvious human traits and what one can do to gain a little more of it without feeling like a phony. Laughter included.
