Loved it! This is a must read. Just read it. Long but fantastic. Covers a lot of ground and is very relevant to the issues of today.

This book was good but I found I didn't get out what I wanted. It was just classic Greens policy arguments, with no academic rigour. I didn't disagree with too much, but many of the assertions were not supported by any evidence. The author argues for example that wealthy countries have an obligation to supplement the income of poor nations, but doesn't really explain why this is so. That's a relative argument, because if all nations are poor, who pays who? Is it a tax on success? Without history and diplomacy driving aid programs, what is the point of it? The book also isn't practical... where is the advice to the scientists and engineers that are creating the new world. Basically this is a book written for the ordinary person, but is being marketed to people interested in philosophy. If that's you, you might be disappointed.

Good coverage of the topic but presented in a way that makes it a bit boring to be honest. There are better books out there. Lacking passion and a personal perspective.

I had my doubts through the first part of this book, but it definately won me over. Even if you think you know what you are doing with your finances, you'll get something valuable from reading this book. Just do it, you won't regret it.

This book is worth the time but the insights are not new for those who have been paying attention. That said it is fairly concise and well presented and the ideas may be quite interesting for a lot of people.

I got so much out of this book. It covers enormous ground but every minute is informative and interesting with good examples. The author is certainly very knowledgeable. So glad I read it.
