This! In the current political climate, we need to remember the lessons of great people like John McCain. No matter what side of the isle you're on, we need to see more examples like him. Conviction, passion, strength, loyalty, honesty. This book speaks loudly to the character of the man, in both his achievements, and his failures. A humble warrior for the betterment of the USA and its people.

Story
Sleep is one of the most important aspects of our life, health and longevity and yet it is increasingly neglected in 21st century society, with devastating consequences: every major disease in the developed world - Alzheimer's, cancer, obesity, diabetes - has very strong causal links to deficient sleep. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why its absence is so damaging to our health. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.

Life changing

Not for the casual reader as this is very in-depth, but that said, this book changed my life. I am a long time sufferer from mental health issues and have been told time and again that sleep hygiene is important. So I took my meds and knocked myself out, for years, and never felt well rested and refreshed. Until I read this book, now (although I'm still medicated for BPD somewhat) I eschew any and all sleep aids (prescribed and otherwise ie. alcohol and THC) and find it refreshing to dream again and wake without an alarm. I haven't had an acute mental health deterioration for over a year and understand that sleep issues are a primary cause and indicator of an impending mental health episode.

Story
David Mitchell hosts the hilarious panel show which turns honest men into lying cheats. In this devious and delightfully funny competition, four comedians have the audacity to lie through their teeth for victory. They compete against each other with lies, untruths and dishonesty. Tall tales, white lies, blatant bluffs and misdirection rule. Can they smuggle the truth past each other or will they be caught in the act of lying? Listen in, play along and try to separate fact from fiction in the ultimate lying game.
