well written, and the level of detail is pretty great. Bob is a lovable character and very human. can't wait to listen to the next one

not a terrible book but not a great one either.

felt the flow of the story was a bit off and was constantly put of by the second narrator jumping on to explain something. everything generally was over explained. a character would do something and it would be immediately explained by the author instead of you building up a picture of a character yourself. Because of this the characters had no depth.
Cain's " I was just doing it because I had/I was only looking after myself " routine gets really old very quickly. again days something and author explains why he says it immediately. Cain did not inspire me at all as any story arcs are solved by themselves and Cain just happens to be there. I guess overall I found him and the story boring. 40k is not boring, the author made it boring to me....

pretty good but lacks a bit of a story arch

Dan really knows how to write a epic 40k story. it really puts many other 40k writers to shame. he continues to expand on the 40k worlds and characters he has created to great success. if you enjoyed eisenhorn you will enjoy this. read by Tony Longworth as always, may the Emperor bless him.

fantastic end to the series

The only down point of the book is that it ends the series. really wish they made more
