This story was sweeter than I expected. These 2 characters, while initially attracted to each other, then got off to a really bad start that kept steam rolling with misunderstandings. I liked the growth of the characters with the storyline though. The addition of a sick animal adds a dynamic that doesn't happen often, and the emotion shown by the narrator added an extra level that I don't often get with audiobooks.

I loved Cannons story.

I liked this 2nd half better than the first I think. The Audible narrators have done a brilliant job and were perfectly cast as these 2 characters. Even though I picked the main plot twist early in this part, there were still other twists and turns I didn't see coming. Plus I love seeing old characters and the introduction of new ones.

Holy Cliffhanger!

It's always a little bit harder to get into the story when it's audible I find. But I still enjoyed this and loved the build up of the story. That cliffhanger though was just cruel.

I loved it.

I really liked the narrators that were chosen for this story. They are brilliant. This is one of my favourite novels.

I think it might be better in Audible.

I've already read this in ebook and loved this trilogy. While I'm still getting use to audio books this trilogy is a good start, the story sounds really good when read by these guys.

Still love Holly and Crieghton!

I first read this 18mths ago and absolutely loved these characters and the story. To hear them brought to life in Audio is still just as good.

What a great finish.

Must read Rebel Heir first. I wondered where the authors would take this story and I’m glad they didn’t make it any messier. I mean how much more messier could it get when your girlfriend finds out she’s pregnant with the guy she had a one night stand with, and said one night stand turns out to be your estranged half brother. I’m also glad Rush got the fatherly approval that he was so desperate for.
