I’ve been told this story is about post partem depression but I didn’t see this story was about that. Thought it was going to be about a murder.

Dreary for two reasons the narrator has such a one note voice and the story is so dreary. The story is filled with characters (so many names) and the main character constantly talks about what happened in books before. Who cares. I’m afraid I don’t. I got to an hour before the finish. I sort of wanted to find out the killer but the decided I really didn’t care.

Oh god that was simply awful. The female protagonist was all over the place. I’m not sure why I lasted the distance I kept thinking it would improve.
My advice don’t bother.

Oh I did love that. I’ve enjoyed all Helen fields stories but this one was particularly good. Made me cry. Hope she writes another.

Oh boy a great thriller breathtaking and hair raising. Good characters although I did get rather confused.
This author has only written one book. Wonder if she will write again. This was good indeed

The sad thing about this story is the narrators tedious voice. Henrietta Meier is I’m sure a lovely person but her voice should be kept away from reading books. It’s monotonous and I found it impossible to know who was talking. Bad narrators ruin books on audible. So annoying. I won’t ever listen to Henrietta again.

I really love the Cherringham stories. But this one is not so good. It didn’t keep my attention I keep vague ING off. Pity Because they started off fun. I’m finding Sarah and jack bit dull these days.
