Just because you are an author doesn't automatically make you a good orator

Jim your research is probably invaluable, but I can't listen to your voice for the next 6 hours. Do us all a favour and stick to research and writing. I have sent this book back for a refund.

Story
The thyroid is the new hot topic in health. Across age groups, from baby boomers (and their parents) to millennials, more and more people - women especially - are hearing that their thyroids are to blame for their fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, memory issues, aches and pains, insomnia, hair loss, hot flashes, sensitivity to cold, and more. Everyone wants to know how to free themselves from the thyroid trap. As the thyroid has gotten more and more attention, though, these symptoms haven’t gone away - people aren’t healing.

Boring
Reviewed: 20-05-2019
I can't summon a positive word to describe the drivel in the first four chapters of this book. It's padded with inconsequential, inane boring drivel that any editor worth a cent would have deleted. I gave up and deleted this book.

What would have made Second Innings better?
I like Andrew Flintoff a lot, but I am not a fan of his book. Its not coherent and tends to jump around. Not any real content to be honest - I found it quite boring
Would you ever listen to anything by Andrew Flintoff again?
Nope
How did the narrator detract from the book?
OK
