Felt in the mood for some lesbian romance lately and this was just that. Character development and dialogue could have been a little less cliche since the plot was mostly transparent though

A thousand years ago evil came to the land and has ruled with an iron hand ever since. The sun shines fitfully under clouds of ash that float down endlessly from the constant eruption of volcanoes. A dark lord rules through the aristocratic families, and ordinary folk are condemned to lives in servitude, sold as goods, labouring in the ash fields. But now a troublemaker has arrived, and there is rumour of revolt.

It was everything I hoped for and so much more! Possibly one of the best reads to ever contribute to fantasy! It gripped me from cover to cover and I'm so glad there's another 5 more in this mistborn world! Can't wait to start the next after I catch up on some sleep lost from the captivating anticipation of this ending!

I have stolen princesses back from sleeping barrow kings. I burned down the town of Trebon. I have spent the night with Felurian and left with both my sanity and my life. I was expelled from the University at a younger age than most people are allowed in. I tread paths by moonlight that others fear to speak of during day. I have talked to Gods, loved women, and written songs that make the minstrels weep. My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me.

This is the kind of gripping story that you eat with, you sleep with and sometimes, you ignore those needs just to catch a glimpse of what happens next. It is captivating, intricate and has the clarity of your own memory. A very clever story that even after it ends, you want more.
