Story
In 1936, against a backdrop of swastikas flying and storm troopers goose-stepping, an African American athlete won a staggering four Olympic gold medals. Jesse Owens, the son of sharecroppers, had single-handedly crushed Hitler's myth of Aryan supremacy. The story of Jesse Owens at the 1936 games is that of a high-profile athlete giving a performance that transcends sports. But it is also the intimate and complex tale of the courage of one remarkable man.

Accent changes helped

The accents helped distinguish characters even if they weren’t necessarily True Tone.
The story is about racism and discrimination with Nazi and African American stories woven in around a running event.
I enjoyed it but save 5 stars for an extraordinary tale.

Story
A revolutionary system to get one per cent better every day. People think when you want to change your life, you need to think big. But world-renowned habits expert James Clear has discovered another way. He knows that real change comes from the compound effect of hundreds of small decisions – doing two push-ups a day, waking up five minutes early, or holding a single short phone call. He calls them atomic habits.

Gold Nuggets amongst tiresome rambling

I would recommend taking away the lesson here from a condensed format. Several hours were difficult to follow with the script losing the reader on how it relates to each lesson. If you watch the key points on YouTube you will be satisfied. There were several great sections and no doubt I missed out on some lessons, however I probably wouldn’t recommend the book over an abridged version. I value the lesson but not the presentation of the book.
