Dr. Hawkins's research is based on a well-established science called kinesiology, which has to do with the testing of an all-or-none muscle response stimulus. A positive stimulus generates a strong muscle response and a negative stimulus results in a demonstrable weakening of the test muscle. Clinical kinesiological muscle testing as a diagnostic technique has been verified widely over the past 25 years.

I loved this book - makes coaching so much easier and more understandable. Coaching is a fine art that obviously must evolve over many years but this book at least gives you the competency to begin - no matter where you are starting from. We don't need to be perfect to practice - we're only need be good enough and after reading just this book you will find yourself good enough to practice.

Many students of visionary mystic Neville Goddard consider Resurrection his greatest book. First published in 1966, just six years before the master's death, Resurrection contains five powerful, practical works that describe how to use the imaging powers of your mind to remake reality. But Resurrection offers much more - the closing essay, for which the anthology is named, is one of Neville's final and most ambitious works.

A little practice will convince us that we can, by controlling our imagination, reshape our future in harmony with our desire. Desire is the mainspring of action. We could not move a single finger unless we had a desire to move it. No matter what we do, we follow the desire which at the moment dominates our minds. When we break a habit, our desire to break it is greater than our desire to continue in the habit. The desires which impel us to action are those that hold our attention.

The biggest fear of people living in the western world today is stated to be public speaking. The second most common fear is death! This means that many people are more afraid of standing up and speaking to group than they are of dying! Crazy right? The fear of speaking in public can feel very real and for many absolutely paralyzing. So, what if I told you that most of the people I have worked with have gone on to enjoy public speaking?

The purpose of the first portion of this book is to show, through actual true stories, how imagining creates reality. Science progresses by way of hypotheses tentatively tested and afterwards accepted or rejected according to the facts of experience. The claim that imagining creates reality needs no more consideration than is allowed by science. It proves itself in performance.

How can we be our strongest selves in life's most challenging situations? We often approach these situations - job interviews, difficult conversations, speaking up for ourselves - with anxiety and leave them with regret. Moments that require us to be genuine and powerful instead cause us to feel phoney and powerless, preventing us from being our best selves.
