Reddix is a Touch Kindred with an inverted Touch sense - he can’t touch with his mind like others of his kind. Instead, he is doomed to endure their emotions like a physical invasion every time he’s around anyone. Desperation drives him to kidnap Nina - the girl of whom he has been dreaming. But he doesn’t take her out of love, but as a sacrifice to one who claims she can cure his affliction. Snatching Nina from her job, Reddix takes her on a journey to the stars that ends in disaster. Now, marooned on a strange planet, they will have to learn to work together in order to survive.

Something has always been missing from my life. A hole that I could never seem to fill. When I accidentally turn a coven of witches into nightmares, I find out what that something is. Magic. And it turns out, I have a crap load of it. As a latent power awakens deep inside of me, I'm exposed to one of the most powerful and corrupt organizations in the magical world - the Mages' Guild. Barely knowing a spell from a few swear words and luck, I won't be able to evade them alone. And that's when I meet him.

You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet. And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me....

The Nether and the Ether ,the two magical forces start to make more sense to Dante Galand and Blays as they make their way through more battles to get to peace back home.
A good narration as always and yes maybe next year i will listen again as it is an easy listen and easy to forget some chapters. But thats not a bad thing .It still is a good book in the series and yes I will most likely purchase the next to hear about the Dynamic Duo and their magic possibilities, battles, defeats(ha ha like if all else fails ,run)and meeting new characters along the way but still relating to very early characters, that makes the series stick together.

The Red Knight's final battle lies ahead...but there's a whole war still to fight first. He began with a small company, fighting the dangerous semi-mythical creatures that threatened villages, nunneries and cities. But as his power - and his forces - grew, so the power of the enemy he stood against became ever clearer. Not the power of men...but that of gods, with thousands of mortal allies. Never has strategy been more important, and this war will end where it started: at Lissen Carak.
