Only one minor annoyance
Reviewed: 06-04-2017
The content is useful and I can take some knowledge and apply it to my clients - and myself. My only gripe is the narrator changing his voice pitch when quoting people, especially women. I don't think it was necessary, and I found myself thinking about that more than I was listening to what was being said. Otherwise, a helpful book.

There are a lot of statistics in this book, which is great. However, I think I'll need to buy the book to have a clearer picture to work from.

Speed it up

The only issue I found was the speaking was a little slow to keep me engaged, so I sped it up to 1.25x and it was fine. That's my only gripe. Great insights and useful tips.

Story
If you're feeling abused or pressured by your prospect, you're doing something wrong. You should never have to forfeit your self-respect or fake enthusiasm about your product in order to make a sale. Likewise, your prospect should never feel manipulated by you. In fact, the buyers should be the ones to close the sale. Your role should be to help them help themselves.

Why change narrators?
Reviewed: 10-04-2015
I really liked some things from this audio. The crosses to the interactive trainings were great and I liked the explanations of the difference between 'I' and 'R', and the rose analogy. I can use that in my work immediately.
What irritates me was the female narrator. She was far too 'sing song' and really did not have to speak in a soft voice or a loud voice to get the point across about volume, pitch, speed etc. I barely took in what she was saying, because the delivery irritated me so much.
The guy did a fine job, and it didn't make sense at all to have her randomly narrate a chapter (or however long it was - I tuned out so am not sure if it was one or two).
Overall, really good info and now I've finished will listen to my bookmarks again now.
Oh, the website links referred to are no longer there, as far as I can tell. Some things like that need updating!
