This is a very long, but wonderfully engaging story of a Russian Count, who remained totally faithful to the principles he had been raised to value, even after they had been seriously assaulted by the Revolution! It is written beautifully, one could say poetically, and deserves the full attention of the discerning reader, or listener, in this case. Highly recommended.

A wonderful story of grace and delicacy in the midst of war.

I loved Lefteri’s poetic writing style! She portrayed the main characters with love and sympathy and allowed the reader to care about them and to be immersed in their past, present and hopes for the future!!
Highly recommended!

What a great yarn! This is an excellent detective story, made absorbing by the author’s ability to weave several threads, each crucial to the credibility of the plot, and her creation of believable characters with whom the reader is able to engage. Also the reading is pleasing and pleasant, not intrusive, but enjoyable. Very easy and engaging listening.
