Loved it!

Brilliant story of how it can take only 6 minutes for someone’s world to come crashing down & a child could simply disappear...

How trusted friendships could simply turn, community support & social media can harm as much as it can help... How ones past never remains in the past...

Parents questioning their own trust & multiple suspicions can erode any security of anyone...

So who then took Bella.....

Nothing is never as it seems...

Imagine having complete strangers come to stay just for a few days, in your home, who slowly & surely destroy all you know, love & believe in...

Definitely worth every moment spent in this story....

Totally loved the twists, turns & drama that The Hunting Party had to offer.

The desolation setting, with the murder & not knowing which guest it was that was murdered & by whom was brilliant - the voice actors for this Audio were also a great way to emerge the listener into the “gang” & see how each person related & the connections that bound the different levels of friendship...

The masks that each wore to carry the persona of happy, successful lives, not the struggles & turmoils that each character really was dealing with made the story more relatable.

Throughly enjoyed this book ❤️

The twists & turns with the connection each character had was enough for me to stay engaged & really enjoying the unfolding story. The harshness of the environment & the gritty determination of the principle character to figure out exactly how his brother came to be dead at the stockmans grave whilst learning just how human others are after all & the grave mistakes that each made gave this story more depth that I felt made the story more realistic than others I’ve read.... outback Aussie lifestyle is certainly not for the faint hearted indeed....

Just too repetitive

I honestly tried to get into this book, it had won the Mann Booker prize after all... though I found it just too repeative & rambling on and felt it never reaching a point even after 9 hours of listening.... just not my cup of tea....

If you offend easily, this ain’t the book for you 🤣

Totally loved & related often to Kitty’s witty repartee of life, love & stuff ups...

Am a fan of Kitty’s work & throughly enjoyed listening while working away on me “crafts” & laughing out aloud at her musings of her life to date...

From childhood to dating, work & later relationships Kitty has a great sense of humour & wordsmithing to help you enjoy her journey along the way.

Felt like we were sitting & having coffee (whilst I’m doing my “crafts”) & liked that there were some challenges she threw in along the way....

If you have a great sense of humour, enjoy laughing out aloud & enjoy stopping and thinking about Kittys musings, then get this book/audio 😊

Totally enjoyed this Audible. I felt for the main character & totally lived the twist near the end. Loved the psychological definitions & the finale was worth waiting for 😊.
