Maeve Kerrigan is an ambitious detective constable, keen to make her mark on the murder task force. Her male colleagues believe Maeve’s empathy makes her weak, but the more she learns about the latest victim, Rebecca Haworth, from her grieving friends and family, the more determined Maeve becomes to bring her murderer to justice. But how do you catch a killer no one has seen? And when so much of the evidence they leave behind has gone up in smoke?
A great storyteller.

Help I fell into this book series and can't get up
Would you consider the audio edition of The Burning to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version, but it certainly adds to the entertainment. I love having a bit of a visual in my head due to Caroline Lennon's spectacular voice work.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Burning?
That final twist! No spoilers, but it's fantastic. I also love the Rob moments towards the end. He's a great secondary character.
