Just what I needed right now

At this time, with COVID restrictions impacting upon our freedoms (rightly or wrongly), I have felt more powerless than ever. This book directly engaged me because it’s central theme is really about increasing our personal power despite our circumstances. Obviously a lot of it deals with women, which is fine as they are a significant need for most men - but other aspects of a man’s life are also considered holistically. Now, I’m not saying I agree with everything nor that I found all of it relevant. The author is politically quite a Libertarian while I probably have more left wing views in many ways - but he manages to be a solid advocate for his positions without generally becoming too outrageous, biased or mean. In short he helps to legitimise a lot of concepts which our broader society has deemed inappropriate and for this I applaud him! NB If I had the option to rate this as 4.5 stars, I would - however this is closer to 5 than 4 imo.
