Story
Lexi Anderson is an up-and-coming, Martha Stewart-type TV hostess whose two kids love the Jared Strong adventure novels, which happen to be written by their new neighbor, Kyle Miller. For the first time in his writing career, Kyle has writer's block - until he sees the snowman on his lawn and realizes it's the perfect solution to his plot problem. He digs in and discovers two things: one, his villain's weapon will fit inside a snowman's body, and two, this particular snowman was supposed to be the backdrop for Lexi's next show.

I couldn’t get through this. It was just too sickly sweet for me and I don’t think the way the narrator read it helped. Not a bad narrator. Just too girly-girl which added to the “sweet”.
Oh well, just not a story for me.

A good addition to the series. Short, easy listen as it’s a novella. Liked the characters although I was a little bit annoyed at some of the interactions. I thought he forgave her a little too easily when she, at first, denied there was anything between them. Happy ending though.

I like Cate’s Nocturne Falls Universe stories. Her characters are engaging and fun. For a quick, light-hearted read/listen you can’t do better. Really enjoy this narrator too.

Maybe if they were older?

Maybe if they were older?

I liked the story but the characters struck me as being too young for all the talk of soul mates and forever. If they’d been in their mid to late 20s, it would have been more believable. I still enjoyed it though.
