I was quiet disappointed with this. Just seemed to be a very poor version/copy of the Da Vinci code. Kept thinking it would get better but alas no. Promised much from the character Ben but did not deliver. Shame.

Enjoyed the book to start with but found the last third disappointing and almost as if the author tried to throw all possible scenarios in at the end.

Very slow for the first 3rd

Omg - what a very frustrating and disappointing ending!!! Almost like the author ran out of steam and couldn’t be bothered to finish

Only managed about an hour in - so so boring and narrator does nothing to make it exciting either - giving up - don’t bother wasting your money .... yawn

An ok story but very cringeworthy in places - not helped whatsoever by some of the worst narration and attempt at accents (especially welsh) that I have ever heard! I have enjoyed the previous series by Joy Ellis but I don’t think Matt Ballard has anything on the others. Will give the second one ago purely because a different narrator but I’m not holding my breath!

Great book spoilt by dreadful narrator

Joy Ellis is a great author and this book does not disappoint however the narrator really does disappoint! Poor accents and voices of characters annoying (some so annoying I shouted out loud whilst driving and walking the dogs). A real shame as I want to listen to the rest of this series but I don’t know if I can bear the narration.

Great book - had to grit my teeth through the Barman’s part as the narrating on a Scottish accent was bloody terrible!!!

So very disappointed. I love james Patterson and have read up to this book so thought I’d get the next one on audible. I have listened to many audible books however the narrating on this one absolutely terrible - I don’t want someone to put on different voices when they are narrating or try to act - just awful - can’t listen to it at all - so disappointing
