Great story, fantastic narrator. I just wish he didn't pronounce Grimace the way he does.

Great performance, lacking story

About eighty percent of descriptions in this book are about sex. Every time you hear about a new alien, you're bombarded with info on how their genders work with very little information about their culture works.

Intriguing, but disappointing

It's a very well written mystery, and very well narrated, until the last few hours, where it starts to get a bit silly

Struggled to finish. Some interesting premises but it just isn't rewarding. I got to the last 2 hours before I gave up, and realised I just didn't care.

The suspense of disbelief doesn't last long in this one, and it only gets more shattered as it goes on

It's probably fine if you're into it

Felt a bit like wish fulfilment. protagonist is a wunderkind that is the best at everything. Additionally, uses the dreaded "I bet you're qondering how I got into this mess... let me start at the beginning" structure, which is a pet peeve of mine.
