Great delivery by R.C. Bray, as usual. Good plot and story which has the occasional Star Wars parallel but nevertheless good. I will certainly listen to the next installment....

The latest Expeditionary Force installment flawlessly delivered by RC Bray. Leaves every serious armchair member of the Merry Band of Pirates hanging in suspense. But I have the feeling that Skippy might save the day....

I sort of enjoyed the book and wonder how the story will continue. However, I hope that someone is taking note of the following: as a astronomy nerd it makes me cringe when people say "eliptic" instead of "ecliptic". This has happened at least a dozen times in this book and cost you at least one star...

A great book covering the New Horizons mission from conception to the Pluto flyby. Particularly interesting are the behind the scenes politics within NASA and personal egos that influence the selection of who is going to fly to Pluto. I am sure some will be miffed about what was written about them... A fabulous account by Alan Stern and David Grinspoon. All that is left to say is good luck for the KBO encounter, but with a team like this luck is secondary....

I was looking forward to this book of Andy Weir like many others. The performance by Rosario Dawson is excellent and I will certainly look out for some other books read by her... With expectations quite high on the back of an outstanding novel it's hard to top the predecessor. I liked it but not as much as the Martian. The story was a bit thin and unrealistic. But I am sure Andy Weir will keep on working and there will be another gem. I am looking forward to it.

Mark Boyett delivers as usual the story extremely well... 10/10 I wish there would have been a bit more detail in the story. A repeated space race to Mars is a good and feasable story. The whole China angle though seems to me a bit extreme but hey. I am looking forward to the next installment.

Interesting take on the "superior alien ship visits the solar system" scenario. Unlike with the Rama series this interstellar visitor is hostile and the main character has trouble to outwhit his opponent, an ancient AI.
So far so good. The story has the feel of a 1970's SciFi novel as the tech is a little on the loose side. However, the characters are good and one wants to listen to the next installment. This is also thanks to the great talent of narrator Marc Visitor. In particular his interpretation of the AI voice is priceless.

I was waiting for this book and it did not disappoint. Mark Boyett is a pleasure to listen to and he has the characters worked out well. The story was good but had a couple of slow spots. Overall however I liked it.
