Different subject but interesting...
Reviewed: 20-02-2021
I thought I wouldn't particularly like the subject matter, but found it quite interesting as the story progressed. There weren't as many twists and turns as they say for my liking, as compared to other books in this series, but once again nice character development of Jackman, Marie and crew. The ending did tie up all the loose ends well and leaves us with another cliffhanger...so...onto the next book!

Another good book in the series

I was hesitant at first about this book because I'd already downloaded it, and then read one extremely negative review! I'd like to totally disagree with that person about the dog situation! I expected something horrendous and was prepared to fast forward anything graphic, but to my astonishment there were no actual details; yes it obviously was a death but happened subtlety is all I will say. Sad, yes, and I love animals but for heavens sake get a grip! The story was also not as gloomy etc as was said; anyway these are my opinions of course and each to their own! Still worth a listen 😊now onto the next one 😀
