Interesting and informative look at Elon Musk's life. Fast pace and not too long. Enjoyed it very much.

Narrator is very posh but otherwise very good. Always interesting. I love Durrel's dry humour. Fun.

This was easy to listen to even with some of the technical info about genes and brain function. Some very interesting stuff about dementia and general cognitive decline with old age. I will be listening to this again as there us so much to take in.

If you listen to the 'No Such Thing As A Fish' podcast then this book will not be new to you. I find that over the years the amount of crazy and unbelievable facts about life on this planet and beyond are worth a second or third visit and so this book is one that you can listen to over and over and still find funny, informative and in some cases quite mind boggling! Good fun.

Sometimes the author can be annoyingly Aussie and uses a great deal of colloquialisms which will be nearly impossible for other nationalities to understand. However, the general information is very informative and useful albeit mainly for Australians. In short this book is for Australians living in Australia and therefore not really the 'Only Money Guide You'll Ever Need' if you are living anywhere else on the planet.

The chapters are quite concise and the narrative moves along at a good pace. I find that some chapters require a second listen through to glean all the details. Some sections are very interesting and then I like to look online for further information on a particular civilisation or person of note. These books are laid out in a lecture format as they are part of the 'great courses' series and I find them clearly laid out and easy to listen to.

I really enjoyed this book. There is an abundance of humorous anecdotes and interesting facts you never hear about in your average history recollections. The narration is good but some of the accents are a bit off... adding to the laughs. Looking forward to reading or rather listening to True Girt.

So many interesting facts about life in USA in the 1920's. Bryson reads with a calm and fluid manner that really makes the book a joy to listen to. Another Bill Bryson classic. Good stuff.
