This whole book would have been 5 stars if just the male narrator, Jason Clarke, read the book solo.

the only thing I disliked about this audiobook, was the female narrator. She sounded like she was on the verge of tears for about 95% off her part, it was actually annoying to hear, and in future I will avoid starting books she has narratored. Jason Clarke narratored as well, and he did an amazing job at both the male and female rolls. I enjoyed the book though, and look forward to starting book 2 straight away.

love the story, love the descriptions that set all the scenes. foul language, sweet/scary pirates, a love story within a love story, all tied togeather with a treasure hunt in a modern day shipwreck novel. this is NOT the first L.A. FIORE book I have felt this way about. leaves me wanting to find her next book. and,... bonus, this was read by my favorite narrator, Tracy Marks.

This is my favourite book in the entire series!

I was a bit reluctant to start this book when I finally reached it in the series. I have read each book in order from the beginning, I wasn't sure this book would have the same spunky Spark as the previous books, due to the fact that it was about the parents of the younger McKays I'm used to reading about. but this book clearly set the foundation as to why the Mackay men (and women) are what they are. Summary; this book begins when a potentially fatal accident sends Carson McKay into a whirlwind of flashbacks of his life lived, where it all started, and the one woman he can't live without. this book is sexy as hell, laughing out loud funny, sad, happy, a tad emotional, and in the end,...... seriously satisfying! This IS my favorite book in this series. The narrator chosen for this series is perfect. Rebecca Estrella is totally on point and in character for this series setting. I highly recommend this book to loads of people, but I also recommend starting at book 1 in the series.

the fifth and final book in the BU series. I love A Zavarelli books, and i love, love, love Tracy Marks narrating. this book wasn't my favourite of the series, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless and was definitely full of the type of drama and emotion that you would expect from this series. Nikolais description was the first thing that threw me, from first hearing of him in the 3rd book, Ghost, I had conjured up a different appearance of him in my head, but I quickly got used to Mis Zavarellis vision of him. all in all, A recommended read if you love this series. you'll definitely need to satisfy your curiosity by reading this book. POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT....... the only part that has left me dizzy and confused is the a part in this book that corresponds with a part in Ghost, when Alexi finds out that Talia is alive, Nikolai already knows and is driving him to the hospital, but in this book, it is Alexi that informs Nikolai via text that Talia is alive. I may have gotten it wrong, but I reread the scene 3 times, and it just doesn't make sense to me. I struggle to admit this small amount of negative feedback, because this series is actually my hands down favourite, and I mean FAVORITE SERIES that I have ever read....and I have read a lot. love your work, Hun. can't wait to see what you give us next!

loved it!!!

how a story that's so cute and sweet, be so exceedingly steamy at the same time, is beyond me. I highly recommend the audio version of this book, narrator, Tracy Marks just knows how to bring it home every time. purchase this one, you won't be disappointed!

I've read every book in this series at least twice. the story is beautiful, the characters are sexy and then narrator is fantastic! For me, this is one of those series that I love to come back to and revisit every now and again.

Great story, Great series, Poor narrator choice.

I have read at least half of the books in this series so far, and I really enjoy it. I haven't picked them up in a while, so yesterday I downloaded The narration upgrade for book 1. unfortunately for me the narrator, Matthew Lloyd Davies, sounds like he should be narrating children's books to children. I felt the voice needed to be darker, a little more Bond, and a LOT less, Thomas the Tank Engine.
