Not strongly recommended, too many flaws in the plot and the characters are inconsistent and unlikable

Did the author get bored?

One of those endings of a trilogy that somehow seems a betrayal of the established characters. My least favourite of the series.

hated it

I cannot for the life of me figure out what all the fuss is. I found it very pedestrian and clichéd. I thought maybe there was a surprise ending coming but was disappointed there too.

Just odd. I just don't get it.

I don't understand what this book is trying to be. If it is supposed to be funny , I must have missed the humour. It certainly isn't a historical treatment of the myth. It isn't an adventure as far as I can see. I rarely give up on a book but I just got so bored waiting for some sort of consistent story thread. I cannot recommend it at all.
