At first, I found this to be pretty slow going. At one point, I wondered if I’d even finish it. Then, all of a sudden, I was hooked & listening obsessively. I didn’t love everything, including Aaron’s possessiveness but overall, the characters were likeable. The narrators voices were easy to listen to. The epilogue was a little disappointing but I was happy to have some closure. Haha.

I really liked the premise for the story as well as the narrators voice. I only listen in my car and I started listening to this on my uni break when I was driving less, so it took me about 2 months to finish it!!! I am a bit sad that it's over now... Archie has been my companion for a while.

I really enjoyed the character profiles, and the storyline. The mispronounced French and German words that other reviewers mentioned, did not bother me at all as I speak neither language. I found it confusing when time jumped back & forth since there was no indication when this was happening. Overall, I think I would enjoy this more in print form than audio.

One of my favourites!

I thought that this book was weird & wonderful, hilarious & heart wrenching. I loved the performances, and the perspective. It took me a while to get into the narrative because of the many quotations, but I really came to enjoy the extra depth that they added to the story. I cannot keep the excitement from my voice when talking about this novel!! I would recommend it to anybody who has an open mind, and can find delight in the thought of a giant swinging member, that's nearly as big as a leg.
