This book is so longwinded, it really feels like it could be half or even a quarter of the actual length and yield the same result. Was there any editing at all? It is not a theoretical treatise, yet it fails to be interesting for pages at a stretch. Thus, it falls into a useless category of “ultra long book on psychology for non-psychologists”. Finally, the regular protests regarding criticism by other psychologists of the authors’ research work becomes increasingly tiresome.

Such a shame that the narrator is so dull, because Branson's text is very lively and funny. It's as if the narrator didn't want to try to match the charisma of the real guy, dfo he didn't even try. A shame, as it could have been so much more impactful with better delivery, as the stories and nuggets of wisdom are very good.

Controversial at times, but guaranteed to get anybody to think a little more about the role that sex plays in their life. It certainly could have gone on a little longer (no pun intended!).

A beautifully read and highly personal account of Michelle's life and career, and her perspective of the Obama years. Many wonderful stories, funny anecdotes and poignant moments.

Fry is superb, The stories are marvellous. This is amazing value, I saw the full CD collection in the book store for $250 AUD! It's not a stretch to say that the past 3 months of SH stories have actually made me smarter and better at work and relationships- yes, Sherlock Holmes as self help! Just buy it and enjoy the journey. Possibly 3 of the 4 novels are a bit slow; but Hound of the Baskervilles is fabulous.

If this book doesn't convince you to get 8 hours of quality sleep every night then nothing will. So full of valuable, up to date information about just how influential our sleep really is, on health, well being, productivity etc. The difference between 7 and 8 hours sleep per night was particularly shocking.

Do not buy this piece of utter crappola! The name dropping on every page, my goodness, the chip on his shoulder is So Big! Sometimes I wonder if all of those famous people inviting him to their dinner parties/retreats ra ra ra are really all just having an 'in joke' at his expense! He's a good Indian boy who decided to step away from an IT job. Big deal.
