Wonderful storyline that helped me gain a much better insight into Aussie Battlers, mateship, community and the price paid by our veterans in war. Narration expressed emotion so well and really captured essence of characters despite all being read by same narrator.

This was a lovely light hearted listen. The characters were loveable and the book was suspenseful in a comedic way. If you’re looking for a smile and your mood to be uplifted give this book a go. Excellent narration to differentiate voices of characters. 5 stars.

I did enjoy the authors use of music as the medium the character explored his feelings through. I felt connected to Adam throughout. The book was a very honest and open minded look at issues surrounding forbidden love.

I waited for about 12months after listening to The Rosie Project and The Rosie Effect as I had read reviews this book was different. Be prepared for something fresh, it's not a comedy. It's well written and just as clever in how the story is woven together.

Enjoyed this book. Interesting concept. I enjoyed the mystery in the beginning of the story as the main character Jason attempts to piece together what is going on. I think the second half dragged once the mystery was solved and I personally would loved to have had more action & suspense to make the book into a real page turner.

Loved the characters and despite cringing at the main characters antics you can't help but love him.
So glad I gave this book a go.
