Great narration by Masters, gripping story. abrupt ending was a bit of a surprise and somewhat different to the previous DF novels, but the magic is still there.

At least it was free.

I dont want to be too harsh, if you have nothing nice to say you shouldn't say anything at all. But for transparency sake, it was bad. struggled from start to finish. Wanted to turn it off after an hour but I stuck it out. Forgettable, unrelatable characters. Dull, basic writing. Frustrating plot cashing in on Covid. And an unbearable narrator. Not my cup of tea but I hope others enjoy it.

Great book, took me a bit to get into it from 14 odd books written and narrated by someone else so it was an adjustment at first, but the narrator was brilliant on reflection. Story becomes quite gripping and overall it was great. Ending leaves you wired.

Very relaxing and educational. Put it on and enjoy for hours. Performance was decent, book content is obviously fascinating.

Couldn't get into it unfortunately.

Not my cup of tea. Bit dull and frustrating but there was some captivating moments where I was gripped thinking something big was going to happen. Finish left me fairly unfulfilled after all the emotional investment I built towards the 2 characters. There's a Netflix series now, but I'll probably give that a miss.

Loved it, could listen to Masters tell Butchers stories forever. thought it wouldn't be as entertaining as a fully fledged boom initially, but these shorter stories were all very good.

Bit of a let down unfortunately.

Struggled through the entire thing. Really wanted to turn it off but I persevered. unsure if it was the confusing story time lines or the fairly dull narration. I'll give another book a go to see of the series gets better.

Took me a bit of time adjusting from James Marsters voice in the Dresden Files series to this, but it was a fantastic book and impressive performance .

Typically awesome book from Jim Butcher, narrated to perfection, as usual by James Masters. Pleasant read.

Brilliant book, possibly my favourite of the series thus far. Marsters was flawless as usual.
