I have enjoyed all the Eagles of Empire books. Impatiently waiting for book no 19. Always a great read however in my case a good listen. The narrator puts added life to the story.

The narrator is the best of any I have come across. I read the entire series many years ago but Rupert Farley brings life to the characters. Better than the TV series.

As always an intriguing story with many a twist and turn. It seems Cato and Macro will again fight for Rome.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I found listening instead of reading a whole new experience. Enjoyed it and will look for more audio versions. I'v read the whole series so far and enjoyed them all. With audio books you can carry them in your phone. Most convenient .

If you’ve listened to books by Simon Scarrow before, how does this one compare?

First book

What does Jonathan Keeble bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Different voices.

Did Britannia inspire you to do anything?

Yes looking forward to the next book. Great series.
