As a 35 year old I found this book to be pretty entertaining, partly due to being the right age to get a lot of the references to do with gaming in the 80s and 90s, Movies, tv shows, anime and then modern RPG / gaming mechanics etc. It’s fairly predictable though and not particularly deep. I still enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone who games or has gamed as a kid, especially say 15-25 year olds.

Pulitzer Prize-winning author and distinguished astronomer Carl Sagan argues that scientific thinking is critical not only to the pursuit of truth but to the very well-being of our democratic institutions.

If this was the only book I’d read in school I’d undoubtedly be a better and happier person.

If this was the ONLY book all kids read in school, the world we live in would be a better place.
