Ridiculous!!!

The story is so absurd and the characters are flat. The sex scenes were horrible but not the worst aspect of the book unfortunately. Two guys who would NEVER get involved with a drug addict find a girl on drugs and fall in love with her instantly and then she moves in with them that same day. The only redeeming aspect of this book is the narration. The two narrators are amazing.

Lacklustre

Evil games was a bit lacklustre for me compared to Silent Scream. It may be because I am a psychiatrist but it just seemed silly. The narration was excellent however and I am still curious about what else Angela Marsons has to offer.

A dull story
Reviewed: 21-04-2016
The book is boring and it's difficult to get into when the mouth noises from the narrator haven't been edited out. There's lots of sighing and lip smacking. It was painful.

Story
From the Audie-nominated narrator of The Martian. In eleven years' time, a million members of an alien race will arrive at Earth. Years before they enter orbit, their approach will be announced by the flare of a thousand flames in the sky, their ships' huge engines burning hard to slow them from the vast speeds needed to cross interstellar space. These foreboding lights will shine in our night sky like new stars, getting ever brighter until they outshine even the sun, casting ominous shadows and banishing the night until they suddenly blink out.

Not a fan

The book is about twice as long as it needs to be. The writing is horrible. "His machine mind did this." "Her machine eye did that." We get that they're in machine bodies! It just seems to repeat the same thing over and over.
