Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

this was an excellent reading of this classic. unfortunately every so often the characters will be read by voice actors rather than the narrator. they do an excellent job characterising the personas, however it is not consistent. this threw me off a few times. this is particularly frustrating towards the end where it occurs multiple times within the same scene. otherwise an amazing job setting the mood of this spectacular world.
