I really enjoy this podcast style narrative of so many different topics, some taboo, some not, some I'd never thought about.
It's interesting to see how others think and how they try and shelter their kids from the past, which I see as a way to doom them to repeat it.

For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

i think these days we all have that existential question burning inside... "what should i care about?" And although I believe the use of the f word is at times overused it does help reinforce the answer that we already know but are sometimes ashamed or afraid to admit.
loved the book & thoroughly enjoyed the narration.

The compelling, inspiring (often comic) coming-of-age story of Trevor Noah, set during the twilight of apartheid and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed. One of the comedy world's brightest new voices, Trevor Noah is a light-footed but sharp-minded observer of the absurdities of politics, race and identity, sharing jokes and insights drawn from the wealth of experience acquired in his relatively young life.
