Narration was annoying and irritating. Sorry didn’t grab enough to push past the first few chapters. Returned.

Did she have to be a trailer living American? And if she was, how would she afford a non-paying internship in London and pay rent for both places and her sisters college tuition? Um, no. Her backstory did nothing to add to it. The main characters seemed very disconnected. I couldn’t find much chemistry. The different from norm industry they worked in was a nice variation. Overall quite disappointing a story. Narration was great.

Liked where it started and the build up. Predictable outcome beyond the norm. Needed more drama - bit too easy fix

Didn’t get into this. Narrators couldn’t save it. Knew not to continue when I groaned when I saw 6 hours was still to go. Not enough going on - suspense of the reveals to come not there. Obvious plot line to come (more than usual in this genre). Have returned.

I understand that a writer creates suspense in a story. However this was, at 25%, so full of descriptive wording the story itself got lost. Te back stories are coming out however the adjective use is excessive and I tune out. Not to the AL Jackson level I have come to know and love

Started with promise. Progressed to characters who one second fought then were holding hands and the jump wasn’t in a good way, just scatty. The “revelation” wasn’t something that encouraged me to continue. Have returned.

The narrator doesn’t vary bettered characters much. There was very little change in tone (or none at all) as the character changed. This pick be out down to the writing too. Not keen to continue. Have returned after about 15%

Not up to the usual standard of Meghan March. Most trilogies I’m so excited to listen to and usually can’t hold out til they’re all out so am awaiting the next instalment for a.month. I his one is just not such a gripping story as usual. Hard to say why. Characters and storyline aren’t as enticing. Also, there are sections of the male narrator where he’s clearly re-recorded it, in a different location and with different sound equipment. Odd and obvious.

Didn’t grab me. Irritating writing and SO many characters without definition so it just became a list of names. Returned at only 5% in. As much as I could handle.

The writing was repetitive. The same conversations happened and then copy and pasted sections. Not great character development and sudden love is just not good enough. Have returned.
