Loved the story but struggled with the narrator

I have read (listened to) all of the DI Jackman books and loved them and perhaps I was spoilt by the narration by (the dreamy) Richard Armitage because even though I thoroughly enjoyed this story I found the narrator distracting (and at times dreadful) I had trouble telling characters apart, I couldn’t tell their gender and I cringed every time Cat Cullin spoke. I’m keen to read more but I think I’ll be borrowing the actual books from the library.

Absolutely fabulous

What a tale, this made me admire the man even more, what an outrageous and caring man. Taron Egerton was superb as the narrator. This is the best audio book I have ever listened to.

What a great story, it was clever, original, suspenseful and had well defined characters. I can’t wait to read more from this author. Also Richard Armitage did a wonderful job as narrator. Definitely worth 5 stars.
