Her impression of Sophie annoyed me so much that I don’t even want to pick up the rest of the books.
Story itself was fine. Very Mary Sue. Not that big of a fan but it’ll do for younger audiences.

Great story! Very entertaining! Definitely downloading the 2nd book. Loved the dynamics between Kaiden and Chief.

The Narrator (Scott?) sucks at accents, particularly on the Australian accent. As an Australian, I cringed so hard at hearing him talk like that. He sounded like he couldn’t decide if he wanted to sound bogan or as a Scottish person. And his narration between Sasha or Laury was too confusing. They sounded so similar at one stage then different in another. No consistency in their accent.

This book was so good. It was funny, emotional, action packed and imaginative. I love the characters and the world so much. The world was expansive and had tackled social and economical issues that is reflective of what we have today. The narrator is brilliant. I knew RC Bray before, having read the Martian before this so I knew I could trust him to give the book justice. I highly recommend this book to readers who love “the Expeditionary Force” and “the Martian”. It will not disappoint you. One of my top fave sci fi books of all time.

Didn’t finish the book unfortunately. It didn’t grab me like how I thought it would. The premise was great but I just was not convinced of the story yet. It might’ve been the narrator, I don’t know. In fairness though, I hadn’t used the sample before purchasing the audiobook so I should’ve known better. But personally, I think this book is best read than listened to.

Love the narrator and Thrawn the character himself but find the plot to be very uninteresting from Leia, Han, and Luke’s perspective. Couldn’t finish it as a result

Been meaning to get into fantasy and I think this is a great book to read as an intro to the genre.
My first book from Patchett and I love it!!! The author was just phenomenal in creating the world. I’m going to buy more books by them!

Great story! Hated the concept of a cast narrators though. The narrators were great in voicing their characters but their inconsistent voicing of other characters threw me off and just made the story unenjoyable. For example, somehow the character Amos was voiced as an American and as an Egyptian.
I think it would’ve been preferable to have one narrator despite the multi perspective concept of the story. It would’ve made everything more consistent and cohesive
