This lecture series was logical in sequence and each one flowed naturally to the next. The lecturer demonstrated his ability in writing through his lectures which gave credibility to the content. He broke down writing fiction into manageable chunks. Analysis was well balanced with examples.

Given the topic, I found it ironic that the book had many, long hard to follow sentences. It was also filled with lots of quotes from books as examples. For me at least, it failed to balance evaluation of sentence composition and structure, with actual examples.

I really enjoyed this topic and author from the great courses. The lectures were easy to follow and expressed different interpretations as just that and not fact. I really loved the way it was informative and left the listener to choose their own point of view.

Good insights and tips presented in a lighthearted and engaging way. If you have listened to or read much of Brené Brown’s work before though you find find quite a bit of this a repeat.
