Story
"Think and Grow Rich" is a motivational personal development and selfhelp audiobook written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by a suggestion from Scottish-American businessman Andrew Carnegie. While the title implies that this book deals only with how to achieve monetary wealth, the author explains that the philosophy taught in the book can be used to help individuals do or be almost anything they want in this world.

Old, outdated book
Reviewed: 11-09-2020
Old, outdated book. Focus is on making money, with references to philosophical, untestable pseudo-claims (see faith chapter). Also factually inaccurate - Columbus was dreaming about finding America?
There are better books on the market nowadays, backed by actual science and data.
This one is no longer relevant.

Terrible book - Don't buy it
Reviewed: 11-09-2020
Absolutely terrible! I wish I didn't waste my money on this book. Author assumes you hate your 9 to 5 job and wish to become an entrepreneur. What if you like your job? What if you don't want to start a business? What if you're not into travelling? What if your purpose in life is something deeper than chasing random experiences and adrenaline highs? At the start of the book, author dismisses these concerns, and then proceeds his narrative in precisely such manner!
Performance is also quite bad and I could not finish the book. Narrator endlessly lists product after product: market analytics services, SEO services, call centre services - why wasn't this placed into a PDF companion?
Don't buy.

A revolutionary system to get one per cent better every day. People think when you want to change your life, you need to think big. But world-renowned habits expert James Clear has discovered another way. He knows that real change comes from the compound effect of hundreds of small decisions – doing two push-ups a day, waking up five minutes early, or holding a single short phone call. He calls them atomic habits.

Supplementary Material Not Included in Audible
Reviewed: 26-05-2019
Fantastic book, but supplementary material is not Included in audible version of the book, and I could not find it on the author's website. Do I now have to listen again to the whole book, just so I can write down URL of each file he references?
Not happy.

This is the only money guide you'll ever need. That's a bold claim, given there are already thousands of finance books on the shelves. So what makes this one different? You'll get a step-by-step formula: open this account, then do this; call this person, and say this; invest money here and not there. All with a glass of wine in your hand.

Overly religious book. Why does it not say on the cover? I don't mind him referencing Bible once in a while, but he keeps doing it over and over and does not get to the point. Books sounds more like a Sunday bible study.
Also, author takes forever to get to the point of what he's trying to say. What is order? What is chaos? He continues on and on with analogies and allegories, for over 50 minutes on just those 2 things! I will definitely be returning this.

As the author of many classic works on science and philosophy, Richard Dawkins has always asserted the irrationality of belief in God and the grievous harm it has inflicted on society. He now focuses his fierce intellect exclusively on this subject, denouncing its faulty logic and the suffering it causes.
