A slow start to the book, but the reviews kept me hanging in there. Some sad and dark twists along the way, mixed in with some beautiful heartfelt moments. And, many an LOL at Eleanor’s verbalised thoughts. Overall, very enjoyable.

Joel Creasey gave his first stand-up performance at 17. Now he's a comedy superstar, performing sell-out events in Australia and around the world. Even the late, great Joan Rivers was a fan, inviting him to open for her last Broadway shows. From his school days and growing up gay in suburban Australia to meeting his idols and what life is like on the road now, Thirsty is full of his most hilarious, heartbreaking, outrageous, scandalous, incredible and most personal stories.

This audiobook was simply the greatest. I don’t think it would’ve been nearly as good reading it as you wouldn’t get Joel himself narrating it to you. It was a 5 star performance, read so well and his intonations and timing make him a comic genius. His stories are hilarious and I snorted with laughter on many occasions, and just didn’t want it to end. I’m now a big fan and will be purchasing tickets to his next show. Wholeheartedly recommend this :)

Too many characters, all read by the same voice. And none introduced so it took a while to figure out which character was speaking. I think I would've preferred reading a hard copy book of this.

While a great sequel to follow Me Before You, for continuity it would've been great if the same narrator was used for this book. As it completely changed the personality of the lead character Louisa.
