Parts of this book are boring. It comes together nicely, and isn’t bad overall - I quite liked it. But I wouldn’t have stuck with it without Tim reading it - he is amazing. I like enough to want the next book - a positive sign!

Nick performs well. Story is juvenile.

Yes, I can blame myself for choosing a story named Space Knight. But, I had hope - that was dashed thoroughly and quickly. Nick P is great, but there’s only so much life you can give to weak dialogue. The lead is as deep as a puddle after light rain. The portrayal of female characters is cringeworthy. The worst part - the lead is a moron. The hard working test acing squire is dumb as fuck and can’t put two and two together - surprise! the two dimensional badguys are the badguys. Don’t buy it.

Well written. Intriguing. Similar feel to Wheel of Time. Kramer reads it marvelously. I enjoyed it a lot and look forward to the next.

Michael and Kate are exceptional. They did justice to the Wheel of Time and they are excellent here. The only problem is that they each pronounce one character's name differently - this jerks you put of the story when you notice it. The book itself is excellent with an enjoyable if somewhat difficult to believe plot. I lapped it up and will be listening to the next boom soon :)

I enjoyed this listen, and will be grabbing the next one. I want to know where Marko is taking us - and that's a good sign :)

Utterly digestible light space opera, delivered with heart by Tim Reynolds. A spectacular end to a delightful series. Highly recommended.

A meandering story that lacks a sense of purpose. Not particularly satisfying in any way. I was quite dissapointed.

The first audible purchase I've regretted. The delivery is slow and lacks flow to the extent that I felt disengaged from the story. This is not helped by the source material - it's tedious and predictable. There are so many better options - this is not the audiobook you are looking for!

I disliked that it wasn't Ms Reading narrating this book. I found the story to be far less engaging than the first two Chalion books. It did not feel connected to its predecessors.
