Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

This is one of my favourite books and I continually play it for pure enjoyment. For me it is just such an original tale that I can't help listening to it again and again. I never struggle to finish, because there is never a dull page. The whole this fits like a wonderful jigsaw. The narrator Stephen Fry was absolutely spectacular at bringing some of the most iconic characters of the 21st century to life and I give him a round of applause for his marvellous creation. For me Harry Potter is an iconic story that relates to everyone in some way or another. I encourage everyone to pick up this Audible for I highly enjoyed it and this you will to. Enjoy the Audible of Harry Potter, the Boy who Lived.

Penguin presents Roald Dahl's The BFG, read by actor, writer, and Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams. This audiobook features original music and sound design by Pinewood film studios. The BFG is a nice and jumbly giant. In fact, he is the only big friendly giant in Giant Country. All the other giants are big bonecrunching brutes, and now the BFG and his friend Sophie must stop them guzzling up little human beans - with some help from Her Majester, the Queen.

This was so wonderful. David Walliams is an amazing narrator. I especially loved the way they added sound effects. It really adds a new sort of unique style to audio books. I absolutely loved it. Five stars from me!
