When this book was first written I am sure it would have come across as not so cliche but alas it has not aged well. This book has none of the charm of the first so I have hoping after disappointing second and third books that lacklusting streak has worn off.

Guessed who'd done it only part way in. Melissa is completely unlikable and idiotic in this book. The ridiculously stupid way she behaves during the denouement really does ruin an otherwise okay story.

I liked that the author actual knew Freddie but often her narrative style was rather jumbled with not a clear enough time line. Now audible au need some books about the band to help fill in the gaps

If my lecturers at uni had been this interesting I never would have given up Egyptology. Really really good overall history by a guy who loves his field. I echo his recommendation about the Elizabeth Peters books they are wonderful. Hope he records another series that is a closer look at some topics.

Scott really has helped me so much over the past year change how I think about possessions, money and life. Just listened to it a second time and left thinking the phrase he often repeats - I've got this. Give this to all your loved ones who you think could do with being less stressed about money (most of them)

I've enjoyed the previous books but the plot for this one really just didn't work. The ending really was very anticlimactic

I tried this book because I really enjoyed magpie murders and house of silk but this one is quite different and not as enjoyable.
