In Everthing Is F*cked, Mark Manson turns his gaze from the inevitable flaws within each individual self to the endless calamities taking place in the world around us. Drawing from the pool of psychological research on these topics, as well as the timeless wisdom of philosophers such as Plato, Nietzsche, and Tom Waits, he dissects religion and politics and the uncomfortable ways they have come to resemble one another. He looks at our relationships with money, entertainment, and the internet, and how too much of a good thing can psychologically eat us alive.

A great book for those who have fallen from grace into the depravity of nihilism. The information contained within has the power to reinvigorate you back to your optimal existence by explaining our primal brain through past scientific and philosophical innovations. Those who are religious might find some parts of this read offensive, but if you can open your mind to the concepts of science there are some really good notions conveyed that explain how we are distracted by obscene variety, how it is an epidemic on our society that applies to our very lifestyle today. Through emotional maturity, and self mastery it is the only way to truly change the world around us instead of crying about it like a child. Valuable information and laughs contained in this purchase. Recommend you pick it up.
