I have probably collected most of these ideas over my lifetime but Dr Tim has put them in an orderly fashion and has presented them as sensible and achievable habits which we would all do well to adopt,

Morbidly delicious. Familiarity breeds contempt. That goes for corpses too. When burning dead babies becomes the norm, you know that death has lost its sting.

Very long and very opinionated which I guess is what a polemic is! The narrator had a fatalistic tone to his voice. I felt I was being told off for how stupid I was. Still worth listening to but couldn't really resonate with many of his 'out there' points.

I go to sleep lulled by the delicious tones of my personal narrator hero Mr Fry. Thank goodness we still have our own God/Hero walking amongst us. Mr Fry ... I prostrate myself on the floor of your temple and proclaim to all your awesome power.

good to dip into but lacking humor . I listened to the serious chapters on politics and self development through religion but in retrospect would have skipped them.

Hereclian labour it may have been to assemble the myths of the Greek Pantheon, you finish listening to the reader who is also the author with a pang of sorrow. Now I know what a Hereclian Labour is and how many of them there were. i also know how the Gordian knot was finally trounced..and why being like the self absorbed youth Narcissus today can perfectly describe someone we might know of...quite perfectly.
Now I'm sounding like Mr Fry himself. How splendid!
if I could give 10 stars I would. This is a keeper. Loved it and learnt a lot.
