A book about one boy's pursuit to pester high profile, high achieving members of society so he could write a book about how great he is.

Great book - too detailed in parts.

I really loved this book. It has a fascinating look on the history of humanity, colonisation and trade routes, and the impact of guns, germs and steel in these processes. It is gripping and detailed but too detailed that your mind wanders off and the book loses it's reader. That is my only criticism to the book - too detailed in parts. I'd advise readers to skim over these parts.

Good. interesting.

An interesting book that was really well researched. Perhaps too well-researched. If they could make an abridged version then I'd highly recommended it. But for me this book was too long and too detailed.

perhaps a literal classic for Americans in the 60s but I didn't get too much from this book. At best some great quotes amid a nice story.

What a fascinating book

loved it. I really great view of human nature: our pursuits, beliefs and our ridiculous and all conquering ways.
