For the hard core Lee Harden fans you will not be disappointed; this takes LH series and points the story line into a new higher plane. There's shocks and tragedies and characters develop as most of us always wanted them to be.

Having read the book many years ago, and loved it, and then been disappointed at the limited scope of the movie, this presentation is just as L.Ron says in his introduction - an epic of 'pure science fiction'. Tears and cheers along the way with a few WTF's thrown in but a great listen for those who loved the book - great work to all who persevered with the audio book production - thank you all.

The continuation of this epic post-apocalyptic British survival story with RC Bray narration is exceptional. Thanks to Mr Ford for your excellent research on actual vehicle, ground and air, and weapons systems makes for a most believable story line; combined with the awesomeness of Dan and Nikita dare I say it overtakes the other survival post-apocalyptic masterpiece 'the Remaining'. When is book five being Brayed?????

OMG RCBray just goes from great to fantastic in this stand alone release - his descriptions of the equipment and action are amazing and correct
The pace of the story is just insanely fast and brilliant. Not to be missed by anyone who is a fan of the Arisen epic. Thank you RCB.

I will have to listen through at least three replays to take in the amazing thoughts of this story.
Practicality, personality, science, guts - will to live, dedication and the human experience (over done that a little).
Having not yet seen the Hollywood version I cannot see how this 'seat of your pants' scifi could be displayed on the big screen to give the due to all aspects.
But to Mars the humans must go.
