What an honour to spend some time with Easy Company
Having read Band of brothers years ago - it was absolute honour to hear these stories again in audio format. Stephan Ambrose has made WW11 history accessible and relatable to all and this very human story of the men of Easy informs and educates on the battles and campaigns of the war that no other writer has achieved. I’ve just finished the final chapters now and was sad to say ‘goodbye’ to ‘moose’ to ‘babe’ to’ niks’ and the extraordinary Major Winters...
