Love the characters Not sure about the best little brothel in the Midwest storyline. I know it was Alex’s turn to get tormented. Interesting twist Reyonld’s showing up. Must be time for Callahan to die and the government be taken down... bit like Trump and his deadbeat crew

I like the structure but found the relentless girl on girl hate, vying for boy attention a bit boring. The book didn't require much from me as the reader, the identity mix up was red flagged, I would have been impressed if the journo had a bit more guts. I think that this story perpetuated the myth of motherhood, child parent connections, where the great mother of mothers would sell her soul to protect her horrible child from taking responsibility for his choices. It would have been so much cooler if she didn't/wouldn't/couldn'....loved the rich, hideous bejing atmos.

Fascinating

The Andrea character struck me a a little 2 dimensional but I enjoyed the references to militant activism and how easy it is for the average person to be sucked into a vortex of destruction. I wanted more from Laura at the end... it didn’t ring true that she would be so hypnotised by the psycho dude... he had killed one of her babies and tried to kill the other. I believe that mother lion would take over.
